I am a health system leader, primary care physician, mentor, educator, and investigator who is focused on advancing health equity. I’m passionate about access to equitable, high quality and timely care, the education of the next generation of physicians, scientists, advanced practice providers and health care leaders, and community-engaged research to advance health equity. I’ve been successful in leading cultural change in academic and non-academic environments to create inclusive and equitable environments for all who engage in health care--from those who provide it to those who receive it—and the pursuit of scientific training and knowledge.
